As we continue our journey with the Social Media Monthly Photo Contest since the beginning of this year, our photographers continue to amaze us with their talent and dedication. Their work not only inspires us but also drives us to enact positive change with each passing month.
Despite the challenges of April, marked by extreme temperatures in Bangladesh, our photographers bravely ventured into the Rohingya refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar to share compelling stories. Now, let’s come together to celebrate their remarkable achievements, as we do every month.
Rohingyatographer's Monthly Social Media Photo Contest
The three winners for April are: Ro Anos on Instagram, Anuwar Sadek on Twitter and Ro Arfat Khan on Facebook.
In this Monthly Social Media Photo Contest, we showcase images chosen by the editors from submissions of photographers in the team, along with their captions and stories, shared via the official WhatsApp group. Each month, we select three winners based on the highest number of likes and impressions on our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter). Winners will be received a small prize as a recognition for their achievement.
This contest serves as a platform to develop the storytelling skills of the young photographers who are documenting the lives of Rohingya community in the world's largest refugee camp in Cox's Bazar. Through their amazing work, they amplify the voices of the community and share Rohingya stories with the global audience, who have graciously joined in this journey and offered their support and encouragement.
Without further ado, here are the three winners for April
