
Ayuk Khan Dkl
Photographer, Storyteller, Human Rights Advocate and Social Media Curator at Rohingyatographer
Ayub Khan Dkl is a Rohingya photographer, storyteller and human rights advocate from Donkhali village in Maungdaw Township, Arakan State, Myanmar. He currently lives in the Rohingya refugee camps of Cox’s Bazar, where he documents the resilience, struggles and daily realities of his community.
Ayub is an active member of Rohingyatographer, writing regularly and as one the platform’s Social Media Curator shaping its visual narrative and digital outreach. He is also the founder of AK Multi Media, a community-based initiative dedicated to amplifying Rohingya voices through photography, short films, reportage and narrative work.
His photography and reporting have been published widely (see below). Ayub frequently collaborates with humanitarian organisations in the camps, supporting vulnerable families while continuing to mentor young Rohingya photographers.
In 2025, he was awarded 1st Place in the Bangladesh Youth Photography Contest organised by the Future Flare Foundation.
Ayub welcomes opportunities for collaboration, commissioning and advocacy work.
