Caden Coi
Assistant Producer, Photographer and Human Rights Advocate
Caden Choi contributes as a volunteer to our Human Rights and Human Wrongs course, supporting the coordination of guest speakers and the development of its educational programme. The course bridges the articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights with visual storytelling practices, engaging young Rohingya participants in critical reflection and creative production.
As a Global Goals Ambassador for Quality Education with the UN Foundation and the United Nations Association–USA, she is committed to the role of education as a tool for awareness and social change. Her involvement with Rohingyatographer focuses on strengthening the course’s international engagement and expanding its network of contributors.
Caden’s work in photography has been recognised internationally. She was named Young Travel Photographer of the Year (2023) for her documentation of Indigenous women in the United States and the Haenyeo female divers of Jeju Island, Korea. In 2026, she received the National YoungArts Award in Photography.
Her interests centre on cultural identity, representation, and the shared human experience across communities.
